iOS — coming soon

Add Orlo to your Home Screen

Using Safari on iPhone

Orlo isn't in the App Store yet — it's on the way. Until then, Safari can turn the Orlo web app into something that looks and opens just like a regular app: its own icon on your Home Screen, its own window with no browser bar, and it'll even show up in your app switcher. Here's how, step by step.

1

Open Orlo in Safari

This only works in Safari — not Chrome or another browser, even if it's your default. Go to app.orlobaby.com and sign in as you normally would.

2

Tap the Share icon

It's the square with an arrow pointing up. Depending on how your Safari tabs are set up, you'll find it either directly in the toolbar, or by tapping the "aA" page menu first and choosing Share from there.

3

Find "Add to Home Screen"

Scroll down through the share options until you see it.

Don't see it? Scroll to the very bottom, tap Edit Actions, then add Add to Home Screen to your list — it'll appear in the share sheet from then on.

4

Turn on "Open as Web App"

This is the setting that makes the difference — it's what makes Orlo open full-screen like a real app instead of just opening a new Safari tab.

5

Tap Add

Orlo's icon now sits on your Home Screen. Tap it any time to jump straight in — no browser bar, no address field, just Orlo.

This is genuinely how Safari is designed to work, not a workaround — Apple has a section of their own iPhone User Guide dedicated to it. We'll update this page the moment Orlo is available as a proper download on the App Store. In the meantime, if anything above doesn't match what you're seeing (Apple does tweak this occasionally between iOS versions), their own current guide is at support.apple.com.
